After a 5-year break, it was a wonderful evening in Hamburg on the top floor of the Emporio Tower at the gala of the 25th WorldMediaFestival. Thanks to the jury and thanks to Sara Chinbuah for a super interesting day with lots of new connections. Special mention should be made of the screening of the best entries in the Astor Lounge in Hafencity in the morning. Anyone not yet familiar with the cinema will be thrilled on their first visit. Monika Gossmann gave the keynote speech after the screening. We were given interesting insider insights into the different production methods in the USA, Russia and Germany. We received the Intermedia Globe SILVER Award for our film: "Dynamik statt Stillstand". You can see the film here.

# DRONE ACTION REEL UPDATE 24

Aerial photography is my passion and I have a special drone for every challenge. I use the Mavic 3 for beauty shots, the FPV for fast-moving objects and the AVATA for indoor shots and tight fly-throughs. All three drone cameras record in 4K/10Bit422 and can be combined well. - See for yourself what that can look like.

# MERRY X-MAS

Christmas is a festival that is celebrated in many cultures. It has a long history and is associated with many traditions. For many people, Christmas is a celebration of love, family and community.

From a philosophical point of view, Christmas can be interpreted in different ways. One way is to see Christmas as a celebration of hope and new beginnings. Christmas reminds us that God came into the world to save us. This gives us hope for a better future.

Another way to interpret Christmas is as a celebration of love and charity. Christmas is a time to get together with family and friends and show them how much you love them. It is also a time to remember those in need and to help them.

Christmas can also be seen as a celebration of community. Christmas is a time to connect with other people and celebrate together. It is a time to remember that we are all connected.

Of course, there are also critical voices that see Christmas as a commercial celebration or a form of manipulation. It is important to be aware of this criticism and to ask yourself how you interpret and celebrate Christmas.

Personally, I believe that Christmas is a celebration with great potential. It is a time to connect with the important people in our lives, to experience hope and love and to give something back to the world.

An eACTROS driver event was held at the Wörth plant back in September. The international drivers were almost unanimous:

# 20 YEARS HMS

On November 24, 2023, the 20th anniversary of the Hamburg Media School was celebrated in Hamburg City Hall. Former students produced a short anniversary film to mark the occasion. The aerial shot at the end of the film was donated by us. AVM has been supporting the HMS as an advisory board member since 17 years.

On behalf of CodeRed. for Daimler Trucks I was at the driving safety centre at the Nürburgring in June this year to document the driver event of the logistics company Schmitt-Peterslahr. It's always great to see the big Daimler trucks being pushed to their limits.

# NAHWÄRME IN KLINKRADE

Energie for Tangstedt from Tangstedt is an initiative that is campaigning for the town of Tangstedt in Schleswig-Holstein to have a local heating network. The residents of Klinkrade have already had one for 13 years. Manfred Wulf explains how it works.
